in her novel 'To the Lighthouse'.

estuary stretches from Copperhouse to Lelant Saltings, It provides
a haven and an invaluable feeding ground for many types of migratory
birds each year including some rare ones.

Campaigning for the preservation of Hayle beach, harbour, Towans,
(dunes) and estuary, and to bring about an end to commercial sand
